Booking single days at $600.00 a day for two anglers or one.

Methow river can fish from mid  June/July. The best times for river floats as this is 100% a snow pack feed river and it drops quickly.
Yakima river bookings in, April, May,  and late August/Sept. Cle Elum Pioneer coffee company our meeting place at 8 am is one and a half hours from DT Seattle. Methow meeting place is Hanks in Twisp. 8 am.

Tips are 100.00 a day for the boat as a guideline.

Trout that rise to dry big foamy stuff.

The Methow valley is amazing...

These
trout, west slope cutthroat, rainbows, Cutt-Bows and remind me of fishing in Montana. This is a really unique and beautiful part of Washington state and the trout fishery can be amazing! I have guided this gem every July, since 1998. Floating and fly fishing for these aggressive hopper eating trout. The secret is getting out , yet very few anglers pressure this river. Fly fishing big dry flies from the boat is most of the day, but if you have never swung streamers for BIG Trout...you should! getting out in a few choice runs we will swing trout size spey rods with streamer flies and sink tips.
As we are seeing warmer springs and down right hot summers my schedule will reflect the best chance to float and fish for trout while not stressing the resource. The snow pack for instance in the north cascades has been low and melting very fast the past few seasons. While the Yakima river flows are dam controlled water temps can still get too warm July and August. The dates reflect a change of schedule to adjust to what might be the new normal. .

I like to float from Winthrop to Twisp, from Twisp to Carlton or Carlton to McFarland take out. I usually like to stop my season as the river drops below 500cfs due to warm water temps and stress on the fish.

My trips are from a raft/Drift boat. I have soft drinks/water, flies, and leaders etc.
You will need a lunch. either pack one or grab a sandwich from the Twisp Bakery. Hanks grocery store is also a great place for lunch and all your camping needs.
The Methow valley offers other great activities such as horseback riding, mountain bike riding, golf, lots of arts and craft shows and great music venues in the summer. Winthrop Blues Festival is a big deal and makes these dates go fast. TBA.
Meeting GRA at Hanks every morning at 7 am and off the water around 4 pm.
Places to stay , Sun Mountain lodge, Methow valley Inn, Twisp river Hotel, and a endless list of Air B and B options. Good eats, HWY Pizza in Winthrop and 3 FingeredJacks has a great SW salad. Toppi in Twisp is amazing food. La Fonda in Twisp is also a good choice.

The Yakima River a Blue ribbon Trout stream.
The Yakima river is a blue ribbon river with exceptional trout fishing. I guide almost year around on the sections around Cle Elum making it about an hour and a half drive from Seattle. The area also offers plenty of other activities, such as, hiking, golf, and weekend Farmers markets. Stay at the Spruce Moose in Roslyn, eats are the Red Bird for breakfast,  dinners, the Brick, The Mexican joint across the street is amazing, as is Base Camp and Logans all in Roslyn.
Meeting place is the Cle Elum Pioneer coffee company at 8 am. Off the water around 4 pm.
